COVID – 19 VIRUS PRECAUTIONS IN EFFECT

To reduce the potential spread of this virus, please keep the identification number we give you.   Just show it to the attendant whenever you are on a scale.

Customers are encouraged to pay with cash to reduce exposure.  Our workers are wearing gloves, and we disinfect the signature pad after every use.

Some workers may wear masks or bandannas to reduce hand-to-face contact, but none of our employees have symptoms.

To reduce the spread of this virus, we have set special hours to enable potentially vulnerable self-haulers to have minimal contact with the general population.

We ask self-haul customers to please avoid using our facilities during these hours so we can keep our most vulnerable citizens safe and healthy.

We invite self-haul customers who are  seniors or who may be more vulnerable to infection to use our facilities during these hours:

Del Norte County Transfer Station:    Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 A.M. to 9 A.M.

Similarly, the first hour of operation at the Klamath and Gasquet Transfer Stations will be the best choice for self-haul customers who are  seniors or who may be more vulnerable to infection.

Klamath Transfer Station:  Wednesday and Sunday 10 A.M. to 11 A.M.

Gasquet Transfer Station: Saturdays 10 A.M. to 11 A.M.
Again, we ask self-haul customers to please avoid using our facilities during these hours so we can keep our most vulnerable citizens safe and healthy.
