Transfer Station Refuse Disposal Rates

For those who like to haul their own trash or just have more than the curbside service will allow, you can haul it to the Del Norte County Transfer Station yourself. The Del Norte County Transfer Station, Gasquet Transfer Station and, Klamath Transfer Station accepts such materials as: washers, dryers, refrigerators, household trash, yard debris, tires, and some hazardous wastes. There shall be no charge to Del Norte County residents for disposal at the Del Norte County Transfer Station of used motor oil, automobile batteries, antifreeze, and paint. The free disposal shall not apply to any items the Director determines were imported into the County specifically for the purpose of disposal.
